Summer is moving right along. Guess the older you get, the faster they go. Ha! Ha! After finishing the Nicholas County High School DD/CD estimate (144 Mil) at the end of last year, things have slowed down a bit. I am working right now for Edward Tucker Architects, Inc. in Huntington, WV providing them with a Schematic Design estimate for the Black Diamond Distribution and Training Center Renovation located on Park Avenue in Huntington. The renovated facility will house a new Solar Holler Distribution Center and Administrative offices along with an Upcycling-Recycling function. I will also provide them with a Design Development estimate as drawings progress.
Industry price increases have slowed a bit, but not stopped, And, with the recent gasoline price increases, my guess is that materials/services will continue to go up in price.
Been shooting skeet & sporting clays a little, but it too has gone up in price!
Where are we headed? God only knows. I sure hope it’s not a depression!
